Our grassroots distance running world is packed full of unique characters and voices. It is one in which elite athletes rub shoulders with runners of all abilities on sodden Saturday afternoon in November. It is the breeding ground for future Olympians and a world where the tête-à-têtes you witness on a regular basis can be trusted.
Our fanzine – co-founded by passionate distance runners Hannah Viner and Chris Rainsford and editor-at-large James Fairbourn – is a nonprofessional and nonofficial publication. It will be the place where we hope to bring your ideas together under one roof and share the stories we can’t currently find elsewhere.
As aspiring club runners involved in the sport from a competitive, voluntary and organisational angle, we’re just as keen to hear about the stories of the runners that we run with or compete against week in, week out as others are in our niche running world.
We would like this to become the independent voice of grassroots distance running in the UK and welcome your feedback and contributions. You can get your copy at an event or register and view it online.
